Youth, Elderly, and Special Needs Outreach
Children from all over the area are taught the responsibility of handling animals and the joy of treating them with love and respect. We have a fully integrated conference and education center for learning and corporate events. Local retirement homes and special needs groups are committed to enriching theirs residents lives by partnering with A Place for Paws.
Educational Coop
Partnering with area Veterinary schools for hands on education of caring for animals. Working with local schools, corporations, and private agencies to combat animal cruelty and build confidence and awareness in our young people.
Keeping history & tradition alive
Partnering with local and national historic foundations to weave past and present K9 service to country into the facility design. Informational and interactive displays, monuments, and plaques remembering and dedicating the service our military and civilian working dogs have accomplished.
